what:

‘a weekend spent with mihaja’ is designed for those who are still trying to find their feet in the world of a photography business

the weekend will be spent concentrating on the following aspects of portrait + couple photography:
o building your confidence
o learn different shooting techniques whilst photographing families, children + couples. you will witness at least four styled sessions with models where you will watch me in action + see how i engage my models in too being fabulous. i will then let you control the session, where you can use the images to help build your portfolio. after each session, we will run through my editing procedures + i will answer all your questions about the why, what’s and how’s of i ran the session
o post production + processing, workflow, ACR (Adobe Camera RAW) + photoshop (no lightroom)
o business practices + pricing
o the importance of marketing, using social media and creating your business brand

cost:

$1299 incl gst
capped at 10-12 people
price includes:
o accommodation for Friday night, Saturday night + if required, sunday night
o all catered meals, snacks + drinks per day (from welcome drinks and nibblies on friday evening to afternoon tea on sunday)

you are responsible for:
o your flights (if required) + airport transfers

bring:
o all your camera gear
o smiles
o questions
o computer or laptop with ACR + photoshop – not essential but preferable (please note that i do not use any other editing program but photoshop and therefore, i will not be showing editing + workflow with any other products). i will be showing workflow and editing techniques using ACR and CS5

payments + booking:

booking fee: $300
the non-refundable booking fee is required within 3 days of booking. the booking fee is transferable to another photographer, which mihaja photography will not be liable for organising, should you cancel your booking
final payment: due strictly 40 days prior to workshop
